The Water’s Dance

The dance of rain is about to begin,

The curtains start to draw open.

Raindrops dance with the guidance of wind,

And the thunder comes rolling in.

The lakes and ponds dance to their beat,

Then the rain sings even louder.

Into the buildings, many men sought retreat,

As their clothes are soaked for hours.

The children sung their song,

But the raindrops still won’t go.

The show will be on all day long,

And it’s song all will know.

Pitter and patter, the beat is yet to stop,

For the rainstorm hears no pleads.

Pitter and patter, goes every raindrop,

Oh, what a rainy day indeed
