A Divided World

We live in a divided world,
Where there is the offender,
The witness, the ignorant and the victim.
The opulence is the infamous manipulator,
The bourgeois is the ignorant and a competitor to escape reality,
The penurious is the victim and climate witness.
Wealth gives us the power to dominate the world,
A permanent job imprisons us in the rat race of life,
Selflessness teaches us to live in a harmonious environment.
It’s funny how opulence manipulates us,
“Once sold, no refund or exchange”
I wonder if Mother would treat us similarly,
“It is limited edition. Once gone, it’s gone”
Greed and money cannot replace what we destroyed,
8 to 5 jobs are the deception of stability,
Owning a house and a car indicates a person’s stability,
In reality, we burden ourselves with debts.
Focused on making ends meet,
We forget what’s happening to the world.
Living far away from the world of capitalism,
They witness the reality and truth,
Adapting to the harsh environment and insufficient basic necessities,
The only wealth they have is unity and respect for Mother,
Which is something we are lacking when living in the city.
